Father’s Day. That’s all. White wine and bed. Man of many words.
This could have been the longest week that I’ve had in a minute, but it was once again, amazing. Trying to figure out how to take things to the next level, but I swear by September I’ll show the few tricks that I have up my sleeve. Shouts to the homie Steve P at Team Epiphany for hookin’ ya boy up for the Kanye/Heineken event (more on that later.) Imma go get my Rip Van Winkle on and sleep until tomorrow.
Aw yeaaaah! There is nothing that I love more than BBQ-ing food on my terrace. Is it me, or did this weekend seem non-existant? Oh well….
When NYC hands you 2nd Avenue subway construction, you make funny signs. I love shit like this. I also think now more than ever music is enhancing my life, while removing other toxic things. I like to think of it as “spring cleaning” for your life. Everybody should try it. That is, with the toxic individuals or things in your life….
This is how I started my week. A half-eaten birthday cake on a torn leather couch RIGHT outside of my apartment. Talk about art imitating life. Aaaand moving on. Having not gone out all weekend did this redhead’s body good, plus this rainy Sunday is the strangely perfect end to the week. I’m thinking a vacation soon…anybody have suggestions??
Really though with all this snow?? And MORE snow? After watching the Knicks just spank Tracy McGrady and the Pistons, and after a crazy weekend, my ass is going right to bed because I NEED to start back at the gym tomorrow. But I digress….
File this under #icant. Well after the wintery week that turned out to be a flop leading into quite the interesting weekend. Thank you Martin Luther King Jr. for this extended weekend because I damn sure need it. Plus the Jets beat the Pats and are facing off against the Steelers next weekend. Can I root for Sanchez and the Gang Green while bumpin’ “Black & Yellow”?? Until next Sunday….
